Litigation Partner (10+ Years’ Experience)

Laishley Reed LLP is a boutique commercial litigation firm located in downtown Toronto. With a current team of 5 lawyers, the firm is seeking an experienced litigator who would be able to play an integral role in the future development of the firm. Ideally, this individual will be a commercial litigation lawyer, with a portable practice that is complimentary to the lawyers’ current areas of litigation expertise, which include tax, insurance, employment, condominium, insolvency, and general corporate and commercial litigation, such as shareholder and breach of contract disputes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of ‘hands on’ litigation experience gained at a leading law firm or litigation boutique, and will have a portable practice of at least $400,000. In addition to the above noted current practices, areas of expertise that would also be of interest include estates litigation and construction litigation. You will be working independently on your own files – however, the lawyers frequently discuss file strategies with one another, to ensure that they are providing the highest standard of service to their clients.
