MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING

The firm is now looking to add a Manager, Business Development and Marketing to support its lawyers, increase visibility and brand recognition to strengthen and expand the firm’s client base, and to enhance business development efforts. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager, Business Development and Marketing will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the firm’s strategic plan and initiatives, supporting the lawyers on business development plans and preparing proposals, drafting and managing all marketing communications for the firm in online and print format, directories and promotional material, maintaining and updating the firm website and social media accounts, and organizing the firm’s participation in sponsorship and speaking engagements.  Located in downtown Toronto, Paliare offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in the office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and/or business development in a professional services organization, with a strong preference for law firm experience.  A post-secondary degree or certification in marketing, business and/or communications is a strong asset.  You must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, as you will be working with lawyers and staff at all levels at the firm.  Leadership and organizational skills, and proficiency with technology and website content management systems are essential to this role.
